Definition

    A commercial facility where the production of compost from organic materials takes place outside or in an open structure. For purposes of this definition, organic materials mean leaves, grass clippings, yard and garden debris, and brush, including clean woody vegetative material not greater than six inches in diameter that results from landscape maintenance and land-clearing operations. Tree stumps, roots, and shrubs with intact root balls are not organic materials

    By right in the IM district with RAR required. By SUP only in A(A) and IR districts
