  Environmental Management System - Core Team
 
 

Sanitation Services’ Core Team meets on a monthly basis.  The Core Team is responsible for ensuring that all employees understand what type of environmental impact his/her job can have on the environment and act responsibly.   

This team consists of employees who perform various job duties throughout the department.  The positions held by the team members are listed below:

  • Administrative Coordinator II; Environmental Management Representative (EMR)
  • Administrative Manager
  • Collection Supervisor
  • Disposal Supervisor
  • Collection Truck Driver
  • Transfer Station Truck Driver
  • Collection Coordinator II
  • Administrative Executive Secretary
Type Of Training Audience Purpose
Raising awareness of the importance of environmental management All managers To gain commitment and alignment to the organization’s environmental policy
Raising general environmental awareness All employees To gain commitment to the environmental policy, objectives and measures of the organization & instill a sense of individual responsibility
Skills enhancement Employees with Environmental responsibilities To improve performance in specific areas of the organization and operation
Compliance Employees whose actions can affect compliance To ensure regulatory and internal requirements for training are met
