Cumberland Hill School

1901 North Akard Street

Built in 1888 and designed by prolific Dallas Architect A. B. Bristol. It is the only remaining 19th century school building in Dallas. Known as a true "melting pot", this elementary school educated children of numerous nationalities until 1958.
