Is there a fee for M/WBE certification?

The NCTRCA does not charge a fee for certification.
The Women´s Business Council - Southwest charges a fee of $200.00 which also includes membership into the nationally recognized organization.

How long is the certification process?

The process can take from 30 to 90 days.

For how long is the certification in effect?

Certification is good for one (1) year. It must be renewed on an annual basis.

Does the City of Dallas accept the certification of M/WBEs from agencies other than NCTRCA or The Women´s Business Council - Southwest?

Currently, the City of Dallas only recognizes M/WBEs certified through NCTRCA or The Women´s Business Council - Southwest. The recognition of other certification agencies requires City Council approval.
