With the Lone Star State mired in a record-breaking drought and no rain in sight, watering the trees in your yard is the most important thing you can do.
A Notice About Article X is the standard landscape and tree preservation ordinance for all properties within the City of Dallas, unless the property is governed by a varied landscape plan or ordinance approved by the city council or city plan commission. The Oak Lawn area is governed under a separate Special Purpose District, PD 193, with a number of subdistricts. Scans of the Oak Lawn SPD and its subdistricts can be found along with most of the other planned development ordinances within the city at the Dallas City Attorney’s website. Since ordinances may be amended, please contact the city arborist for confirmation of the current landscape or tree regulation for the district. |
