The Bank on Dallas program provides several opportunities for financial education that will help you and your family achieve greater financial stability.

First , at the time you open an account your bank officer will provide you informative brochure published by Bank on Dallas and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas which covers subjects such as:

  • Why open a checking or savings account
  • How do I open an account
  • Advice to save your money and
  • Resources to help you

Second, You will have access to a list of organizations in the partners section that will provide free in-depth financial education to you on subjects such as:

  • What is a bank or credit union
  • Budgeting your money
  • Information on managing checking and savings account and
  • Information on credit

Third, financial institutions participating in Bank on Dallas may waive your first over draft fee or set of overdraft fees and use this event as an opportunity to contact you and provide additional information on managing successfully a bank account.
